Darlene Elequin-Anderson

Fun, food and fellowship attracted me to Inter School/Inter Varsity Ministry at Central Philippine University (CPU) when I was in high school and college. But what struck me most was the wholistic application of the gospel in my life and the inductive Bible studies.

From a student member of IS/IVCF, I became a graduate volunteer at the various schools, then finally a full-time staff worker with IVCF Philippines National Office for five (5) years.

Unexpectedly, this 2021, God called me to become the chairperson of the IS/IVCF Board in the Cayman Islands. I am humbled and honored to accept this responsibility with utmost reliance on the Holy Trinity. Along with me is a team (Board Members) who are passionate servant-leaders for Christ.

I am happily married to Joseph C. Anderson. We are both involved in our real estate, construction and development business. But our real love is Jesus and to see His kingdom grow.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Social Sciences in Central Philippine University. I chose to pursue IVCF work instead of accepting the scholarship offered to me to do my master’s degree in Anthropology.

In the Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos, my husband and I, run our business in Property Management, Real Estate, Construction and Development. It has been my dream before I left Philippines in 1997 to see an IVCF ministry in the Cayman Islands and praise God, this dream has now become a reality.

This is an honor and privilege to work along with the team of people who want to nurture this ministry and to make an impact in the lives of students in the Cayman Islands.
